Hello everyone, I'm Lexi Lombard, your host to the at Lexi podcast.

And we're back with another episode. I've been wanting to record all

week but I lost my voice from Govball and I think I caught a little bit of a

seasonal flu. I woke up this morning feeling so much better, but my voice was all

messed up for like three or four days and I'm finally on the tail end of it and I feel good

enough to record.

However, I do feel like I might be a bit of a mouth breather right now.

So just be a little gentle on me.

I have so much to talk about because I've been going through a wave of emotions.

It's back to school season. It's October spooky season has begun and it's just a time of nostalgia for me. I feel like proper end of summer or like early end of summer where it's end of August beginning of September feels really special. It has that air of discipline. It's like time to get back on track.

But then by the time October comes around, I'm in a routine again and it's time for you know the football games and homecoming and

leaves are changing and for some reason that just kicks up nostalgia for me and nostalgia is not something I like to sit in often at all.

You will almost never catch me going through old photos. I don't like to spend much of my time in the past. I'll spend my time in the recent past, you know, like I love to shoot the shit and go over what happened last week, but I'm not about to talk about what happened in 2017 like oh 2018 those were the days

God summer 2015 I don't I don't do that I don't like that I like to focus on the

recent past the present and the near future.

That's how I prefer.
