Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another episode of Making the Argument Special Edition, where we talk about what should the right want.

0:08.6

Again, we all seem to be pretty clear on what we're fighting against.

0:11.5

We want to defeat Woke.

0:13.5

But as has been said before, co-belligerents does not necessarily mean allies.

0:18.0

And the whole purpose of this series is trying to figure out not just who we're

0:22.3

fighting, how we should fight them, but what we're fighting for. What should America look like

0:29.1

if we win? I think we will win. I think we have to win. But again, what are we fighting for?

0:34.9

One of the things I learned in war was, you know, some of the best fighters are the ones that love what they're fighting for or not hate what they're fighting against. And with us today is a guy that I think is uniquely equipped to talk about this subject. He has a recent book that just came out that brushes up on a lot of this. So I think it's going to be perfect. So once again,

0:54.6

Dr. Turley, thank you for joining us again. I'm making the argument. Oh, thanks, Nick. And thank you for making this argument. This is wonderful. Well, the first thing I want to do is, you know, I talk about this kind of broad coalition

1:14.3

that is against woke but doesn't necessarily want the same things at the end of the day.

1:18.9

So I will, I'm going to put this into three broad categories and we could, we could

1:23.3

dissect this all day long, but just for the sake of time, three broad categories. One category I

1:28.7

kind of put into, these are the guys that they're not necessarily philosophically conservative.

1:35.1

They just cannot stand woke. And people that I would put into this category, people like Elon Musk.

1:40.5

I don't think Elon Musk is a diet in the world conservative or anything like that.

1:44.2

But he has a deep abiding appreciation for freedom of speech.

1:47.9

I believe he genuinely loves the country.

1:50.2

But I also think that he just kind of wants to reset things maybe a decade or two back and

1:55.1

we'd probably be okay.

1:57.0

Then you have the second category.

1:58.6

This is more of your classical American conservatives.

2:01.9

And I say American conservatives intentionally because when we look at concepts of classical
