What exactly does the right want? I mean, we all pretty much understand what it is we're fighting.

There seems to be a lot of consensus that none of us want woke. But if you actually look at what has

become big tent, right or right wing, there is not a lot of consensus on what the in-state

should look like, what it is that we should be fighting for as opposed to what we're just fighting

against. And as I've researched this and I've studied it, I've come up with these three

camps that I feel like the right falls into. One camp is this idea of we just need to reset

to 2005 before everything got really crazy. And if we could just do that, we'd be fine.

Another camp recognizes that the problems that we experienced now didn't start pre 2005.

They started about 100 years ago, if not longer than that.

And so there are serious reforms that we need within our Constitution, within our government structure.

And even then there's a third camp which says, nope, the entire classical liberal experiment has essentially

failed and we need to look for something else in order to build the sort of high trust society

we want to live in. Well, my guest today is someone that I've had people that I actually

respect and like. Tell me that I should not listen to, that I should avoid. And so naturally, I immediately went out and started listening to hear what he had to say.

And what I found was is that the caricatures of what he was saying did sound pretty bad.

But that was the problem.

They were caricatures.

When I actually started listening to his arguments and his reasoning for the things

that he wanted and the things that he would like to see happen, a lot of it made a lot of sense.

And so I'm very privileged today to be speaking with Doug Wilson.
