What is your personal story involving a Bugs Life?

Hello David, welcome to the midroom.

Oh, ah.

Oh, ah. Yeah, my story doesn't involve really any injury, but it's more of a kind of a gross story.

That seems to be the only other option when it comes to bugs.

Yeah, last year I was tasked to go visit a prospect.

We sell some engineering equipment, so me and my buddy. I'm local and he's in Austin, Texas. So we met up in Salt Lake City and we drove three hours west on I-80 to town I've never been to before.

It was like in the middle of nowhere, Nevada, called Elko.

And once we get off the freeway, we took these side roads, and I noticed that, you know, a lot of these

side roads were like stained, like red. And it's like, well, what's up with this like red stain on the freaking road?

So anyway, we get there and we do our demo and after that we leave and then as we're leaving you know in the heat because it was hot

you know like normally in a heat and that's for you see a road you get this kind of like like the

roads moving in front of you kind of thing?

Yeah. Well in this case it was like red. It was like the road is is red and it's moving and I go what the hell's going on.

In fact, I think we asked the customer prior,

it's like, why is this road stain red?

And they said, well, there's these things called Mormon

crickets and okay so we basically drove out these side roads and there were these crickets that are called Mormon crickets and that bright red and I guess that year they had an infestation of them in Nevada and there's like tens of thousands of them like just

jumping all over the road and so I found out later that they're they're

cannibalistic and they're cannibalistic and there are people just smash them on the road and

it's and then it emits an odor and it was just gross just like driving through that.
