Hello, everybody. Welcome to Three Point Perspective. The podcast about illustration, how to do it,

0:10.1

how to make a living at it, how to make an impact on the world with your art. I'm Jake Parker.

0:13.6

I'm Lee White. And I'm Will Terry. And all three of us are professional illustrators. We've all

0:18.5

work for all the major publishers in the business.

0:24.4

Together we publish somewhere around 75 children's books and we've all taught illustration at university art schools. That's right. Each week we come back at you guys with

0:29.8

fantastic illustrator interviews or interesting illustrator questions like you might have.

0:35.7

1:19.9

thing with artists. And maybe it's not just the art community where we maybe it's more of the

1:26.6

artist entrepreneur community where we overest it's more of the artist entrepreneur

1:27.5

community where we overestimate our abilities. We'd be paralyzed without that. So it's actually a good

1:33.0

thing sometimes, right? I mean, because if you knew where you really were, you might just not even

1:41.7

try because you'd say, well, what's the point, right? I mean, like, we all fought through that artists don't make any money thing, right?

1:50.3

Like, you can't make any money as an artist.
