I would have said it's a very quiet pre-sunrise morning, but off in the distance, I see a car which is going to be passing me in a moment, and so

You're out doing this thing. You're doing it. I don't know how hard it was for you to get out the door to take this walk. I don't know if this was something you looked

forward to and you were eager to begin walking or whether today was a little bit harder for you.

Maybe you even thought through some excuses why you didn't have to do this, why you can't do this.

But you overcame those excuses, and here you are.

Today I want to run through, I think this is a list of 20 excuses that people give for exercising, for fitness.

And I'll try to get through as many of these as I can. Some of these, you probably will go,

I never even thought about that. Never said that, never thought that. And some of these, you probably,

if you're like me, and so many others, you'll say, oh yeah, yep, I have certainly, certainly felt that.

All right, so here we go. And these are not, by the way, in any particular order.

Exercise is boring. This is an excuse. And certainly for many people, the idea of fitness and

a fitness activity and doing the same thing, the same way every day, is boring, feels boring.

It's one of the great things about walking for fitness.

You can walk different speeds.

You can listen to different things as you're

walking. So all kinds of ways to make your walks interesting, to make exercise interesting.
