I'm joined today by Conno of the San Francisco Chronicle, who has been covering the Warriors longer than I have, but like me, has closely covered these last two

seasons and knows more about what's going on with these Warriors more than anybody who doesn't

actually work for the team, and even then, he and I probably have a more objective opinion of

where this team stands than people who even work for the team, and right now the Warriors

are reeling. They've lost seven of their last eight, including three straight, which will probably end up at four straight after

tonight's game against the Bucks. They're four games below 500, barely holding on to the final

spot in the playing tournament by half a game over New Orleans. But like Draymond Green says,

no one cares about the playing in tournament. This is a Warriors organization that is defined by its all or nothing approach.

And for a lot of reasons that we're going to get into, they are clearly playing for next season.

So the big question I have for you, Connor, does Clay Thompson's return fix everything and turn the Warriors back into a contender next year?

No.

No, it does not.

I think that the, everyone in the organization wanted to believe that that would be the case

entering the season.
