The Warriors beat the box last night.

They did it in an exciting way.

The Secretary scored 41 points, came up a good in the second half, 30 points in that second half.

It was a really nice game, particularly in that first half, putting a double

double together. It was easily his best half of his rookie season. And what struck me and what everybody wants to be talking about now is

just how much more pick and roll the Warriors ran in that game. And it was noticeable from the

very beginning that they were going to focus on the pick and roll a lot more. And there's a few reasons for that

that I'll get to. One of them, of course, is that Milwaukee famously plays a drop coverage.

And this is something that the Warriors knew going into the game, that they scouted and had

decided that they were going to attack. So when you have a team playing drop coverage,

meaning that their center is going to hang out by the rim

and not play up on pick and rolls,
