I have a story up now about the commanders, what they've accomplished in free agency, certain things they were looking for it, obviously talent, but what the maybe some

specific types of talent. And then what are the remaining holes to be filled? Of course, we all

know what some of those are. And one of those holes could be filled by the player that I'm

going to be talking about with my guy, Nick Wagner from ESPN, who covers the 49ers. Of course, we're going to be talking about Brandon Ayuk. And this, the whole situation, like, what's the situation there? So I want to ask Nick just to get his input on the situation. I've had him on before. He has really good insight into this. But also, like, hey, what kind, you know, I think there's other things important to know here, not just when the Niners are going to do this, because eventually he's going to be free. They've already said he's not going to be playing for them. The only question really is when. So then it's like, okay, what team, whatever team gets them, and obviously we know that this team would be a logical destination, and I do believe they would absolutely have interest in a one-year prove-a-type deal. So what would Washington be getting in him? How is he in the locker room? What about as a player, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So I want to have Nick on to talk about all of that. And again, like, I don't, I'm going to say, as of now, I would be surprised if they traded for him. Now, keep in mind, and Nick brought this point up too, that there's no more guaranteed money on IEUKS deal. So that's kind of a key factor. He does have a couple more years left, and the base salary in, you know, next year goes up pretty high. So in 28, it goes up pretty high. So, but again, there's no more guaranteed money but so i you know

if you wanted a trade for him could you give up something for him sure but i think like at this as we as i

record this right now i'm going to keep all i'm going to say as of now because sometimes things do

change like you get more information with me or them about the situation, maybe from a standpoint of,

hey, there's a team that's willing to give up X-pick.

Now, I still think that the general vibe has been that they're going to have to end up releasing

him.

They are waiting because of cap purposes, like, you know, for the June 1st up, it seems.

But that means they'll be having them, as of right now, that they'd have him for the June 1st stuff, it seems, but that means they'll be

having them, as of right now, that they'd have them through the draft. So could somebody get desperate? Well, this is a very good draft for receivers. Keep that in mind. So, you know, it would be interesting if the team doesn't get the guy they want, would they make a move for that? I don't know. And again, like my understanding here has been, if they sign them,

it'd be for like one of those one year prove it type deals. That's what I know as of right now.

And I always say that because like eventually, again, if things change and if I get more information,

I will share that with you. But that's what I know right now.
