0:11.6	Right now we're going through the first book of the Bible, Genesis.
0:14.7	A plane takes off in LA for New York City, but its pilots mistakenly set its
0:20.4	trajectory off by just two degrees to the south.
0:23.6	That can't make a big difference though, can it?
0:25.8	I mean, for example, over short distances,
0:28.1	being two degrees off makes literally no difference.
0:31.2	If someone was walking down the hallway towards you but was actually
0:34.0	walking two degrees to the right of a straight shot, you'd think they were still walking in a straight
0:38.7	line. You'd have no idea that they were two degrees off. It's just so so so so so minor. But two degrees makes a big difference
0:47.2	over a long distance. That plane leaving LA for New York would actually end up in
0:52.3	Washington DC 200 miles south of its intended
0:55.6	destination. Small changes in trajectory don't just matter when you're flying. It matters in your life.
1:02.4	A small behavior can reap a bigger habit which becomes an even bigger character.
1:07.0	Small errors in trajectory in your life can become massive problems in the outcome of your life.
1:14.1	And honestly, that's like totally terrifying to me because like any good American,
1:19.0	I was taught that I'm the captain of my life.
1:21.2	I'm the pilot of my ship and that it's my job to make what I will of this life.
1:25.9	It's my job to make what I will of myself.
1:28.7	But I honestly had no idea how tiny habits of thought when I was 16 like pride, selfishness, lust or anger, how those could produce massive character problems now that I'm 34.
