And today, in light of the fact that we've all gotten done getting our tax bills, some of us are not happy about those, even though Trump said, oh, it's going to be great.

And so in that vein, Treasury Secretary Scott Besson, who of course we adore, he just was on, I can't remember which news show, but he was saying, hey, America, you should adjust your paycheck withholding amounts because then you'll get more take home pay and it'll be kind of like

an automatic wage increase if you do that instead of like waiting for a big refund.

And so I know from personal experience, I have always done better with a refund.

Like I'm good at managing that. I know that's not the way to do it.

Like you don't want the government to have your money all year round. I get that argument.

But just for me personally, that's how back in the day where I used to get a refund, that's how

it worked. What do you, what do you think he's doing? Like, why is he encouraging people to do that?

with their withholdings right like should they overpay that kind of you know yeah yeah

that that's it's a great question so what i think that he's trying to do is you know acknowledge

that things have gotten more expensive and it's it look it's a really weird environment right now, obviously.

You know, for instance, it, it, oh, well, oil hasn't gone parabolic.

But if you look at like things like diesel, you know, you're at a record high, right?

So what, what he's trying to do is he's trying to give people.

The other thing is that they know and this is is not, they know that higher prices are coming.

And not just via inflation, despite there's a lot of weird things going on in oil right now.
