This was right before the invasion of Ukraine, right after the speech of Putin's that a number of people found alarming, because he was a little more emotional than he sometimes is the speech struck.

1:03.8	In any event, it seemed to presage an invasion of grander scale than even those of us who expected an invasion had anticipated.
1:17.4	The invasion was on a grand scale.
1:20.8	It's starting to look like that wasn't the wisest thing.
1:23.9	But in any event, it was.
1:26.5	So immediately there were these sweeping sanctions imposed.
1:32.4	Russia became increasingly isolated,
1:35.7	not just economically, but in a sense, technically,
1:39.8	you know, and media-wise.
