In fact, it's never happened before because this is the first episode ever that I have done my podcast in both an audio and visual format.

So I started this podcast a few years ago and it's always just been available on your podcast

player. A lot of people have asked me to put it on YouTube and I've always been very

resistant to that. But today that's going to change. I'm going to do my best to get my episodes

His name is Judd Saul, and he has the executive director of an organization called Equipping the Persecuted,

and he is working directly with persecuted Christians in Nigeria.

Before we jump into the interview, I want to give you a little bit of context for how I got interested in this subject recently. I was on X and I was doom scrolling one evening.

And I suddenly caught myself because I realized that I was scrolling past all these posts that

were talking about

the Christian persecution that's happening in Nigeria. There were photos, there were videos,

there were people's comments. I was seeing all these posts and I was going right by them.

And I stopped myself and I had to think, why am I doing this? I don't really have any clue

what is going on in Nigeria right now. But if this is happening,

this is a really big deal. I should be more educated about this. And maybe this is something

that I can help others be educated about as well. So I just got really convicted about it.

And then I asked myself, why haven't I been looking into this to date? And when I really did

some soul searching on that, I have to admit that I had this

skepticism that I could ever actually figure out what is going on. I kind of felt like, man,
