Hey friends, welcome to the Natasha Crane podcast. Well, my guest today is back by truly popular

demand. We did an episode about three years ago, and it is one of the most often mentioned episodes.

When I meet people, I speak at conferences or go to churches, wherever it is, and people say,

oh, I listen to your podcast.

A lot of times they will mention this specific episode that we did called the homelessness crisis from a biblical perspective with Brian Crame.

As you might have guessed from the name, yes, that is my husband. So I would

agree that this is a particularly fantastic episode that we did. My husband's awesome. He is the

president of the Orange County Rescue Mission, and he has a lot of experience in this area of

homeless services. And I think that it's just an area that a lot of us, as Christians, we realize this is a big

issue, but we don't necessarily know what to do with it, especially when we encounter it.

When we see someone on the street, we don't know what to do.

And so I think that this topic raises a lot of questions for people, which is probably why

that episode stood out. So there

are a few reasons why I'm having Brian back on today. Number one, I just wanted to have an

extended conversation about this subject because it was so popular with people and raise so

many great questions. So I wanted to dive deeper into some of the topics that we covered before.

We're not going to recover most

of what we did in that last episode. And so if you listen to this and you're thinking, I want to

know more, I want to go deeper on this, I want to better understand what a program like the Orange

County Rescue Mission does, those are all things that we did in that last episode. I'm going to put

a link to that in the show notes, but it's from September of 2022. But this today is really just more of an
