Where do you think?

I laid out on the show three at the beginning, three degrees of KOC quarterback opinion.

Degree number one is that he's, he believes in McCarthy, but just feels like he needs a better backup. Degree number two is that he believes in McCarthy, but just feels like he

needs a better backup. Degree number two is he wants a true competition, but the person is not really

necessarily a locked in starter. And degree number three is, okay, someone else is starting. Forget

this. I'm not putting my career on J.J. McCarthy.

Where do you think KOC lands on that scale?

I think he's at too, probably.

It's a really tough position to be in, though, because you,

I'm sure he's feeling the pressure that being KOC going into 2026.

And if you put any sort of stock into J.J. McCarthy being, showing any sort of improvement,

it's going to have to be a lot of improvement.

Otherwise, you're looking at, you know, 8, 9, 9, and 8,

again, probably at best, and you're relying on your defense to carry you,

again, which they kind of did down the stretch of the season in 2025.

But there has to be a sense of urgency for this position

or there to be improvement with this position one way or another.

Rather it's McCarthy showing improvement or you bringing in somebody to maybe push him.

It's hard to, I almost want to say like 2.5 maybe.

Like it's like it's kind of in between the, I want to bring somebody in to push JJ.

But if I can get my hands on somebody that's going to be a bona fide starter, I will
