Welcome back to Friends from Work, a podcast about all things in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I'm your host Kyle Skunwo and he's Robbie Earl and today is our news episode that we call What's New in the MCU, which is why I'm reading this like a newscaster. Robbie, did you catch that? I'm just really on top of my game right now. I like that. I like that. I'm not going to lie for a

second there. I was wondering if that's just what your voice sounds like ever since you came down

with this illness. Well, that's fair. I got so sick last week and then, of course, I had to travel for work

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And of course, my flights were, you know, 5.30 in the morning.

So I am barely recovering at this point, but I'm here and I'm doing it.

Hey, once again, we applaud your dedication. I do feel like it's worth asking.

We talk about traveling for work. What is your work, Kyle, other than producing the preeminent

Marvel Cinematic Universe fan podcast.

I guess we've never talked about why the podcast is called Friends from Work, have we?

Yeah, that's true.

That feels like something we should have covered in the first episode.

You know, it really does. It really does.

One, obviously, Friends From Work came from the line Thor says in Ragnarok, which is perfect

and an epic moment. And if you're a Marvel fan, you would know that reference, which makes it

kind of fun. But secondly, Robbie and I are actually old friends from work. Yep. Well, I am currently

still a touring musician, audio engineer. And Robbie used to be. We actually used to tour together, and that's how we met. Good old days. So, fun fact. Friends from work. There you go. Those were the good old days. Although now we get to talk about Marvel, so those are good old days too. That's true. You know, as my good friend, Annie Bernard said. Oh, gosh. Hit me. I just wish you can know that you were living in the good old days too. That's true. You know, as my good friend, Annie Bernard said, oh gosh, hit me. I just wish you can know that you were living in the good old days when you were living them. Yeah, before you left them. Yeah. Well, we are in the good old days. Okay, and Robbie, you are traveling as well, aren't you speaking of all my travel? That's true. Man, I've been traveling a ton. I've been all over Europe
