about the violent anti-immigration riots that have been taking place in Dublin, Ireland recently.

There's a lot of information out there, it's somewhat confusing.

Doyle is going to put us right and let us know exactly what is going on out there on the ground.

There's been riots, anti-immigration riots is the headline everything's going with. I think

before we get into what's driving these, what's happening, what's the realities, not to say that that isn't what's driving these what's happening what's the realities not to say

that that isn't what's happening but before we get really into it tell us what

happened what what's what's the been the severity of these rights from

what I've seen online they look pretty serious and Yeah, so the most recent kind of this is part of an ongoing thing so obviously there was huge

rides here in November last year and this is kind of just a continuation of that there's been smaller sort of skirmishes around the place but the sort of point of tension here I guess is that there is a asylum like center kind of going into an abandoned factory in Koolock which is a kind of working class suburb of Dublin and it's sort of part of this whole I suppose like yeah

national scheme by the government where they've sort of outsourced the asylum system to private

companies and the sector is worth I think like nearly two and a half billion

euro annually in contracts to these companies and

they're sort of finding places that are rural like very rural are in some more working class communities because obviously the incentive is cost effectiveness and so they're not going to pop up in like

super affluent post-cows usually they're kind of more confined to working class areas

or very rural areas like very small rural towns where there's only like you know a couple

hundred people maybe.
