Yeah, I mean, I haven't been able to see my grandkids,

but that'll happen in the next one.

And I am with Robert Cherry.

Robert is Professor of Economics Emeritus, Brooklyn College,

and a prolific writer on social policy issues, inequality issues, things of that kind, published all

over the place and we're going to be talking today about what he's been doing of late on the issue of increasing homicide in American cities 20 over 2019,

but I assume we'll get beyond that.

So how's it, how's it going, Robert?

Are you keeping pretty well during this time of pandemic and whatnot?

Yeah, you know, I mean I'm somewhat blessed.

I live in a nice neighborhood where I can walk around, not congested, and you know my wife and I

retired so we don't have to deal with much other than going to the supermarket and getting take out.

So...

You're retired, but you're still pretty active, man. I see your pieces all over the place.

Well, I got time. I can't see my grandkids. I can't do any traveling.
