Today we're joined by Kristen Olson, Globalhead of the Alternative Capital Markets Group

within the Consumer and investment management division at

Goldman. We'll talk to Kristen about the alternative space and what's been driving

interest from investors both recently, post COVID and over the longer term.

Thanks Jake, thanks for having me.

Before we jump in, introduce yourself, Kristen, give a quick summary of your role and your tenure here at the firm.

Sure, so Jake, I'm a Goldman Sachs Lifer.

I've been here for, it'll be 22 years this July.

I started at the firm after undergrad at Georgetown.

So I started my career as an analyst in Investment Banking, the Financial Institutions Group,

and I moved over to the Investment Management Division,

now the Consumer and Investment Management Division,

in 2001, to work in Alternative Capital Markets.

And that's the group that I lead today. So I've spent really almost all of. in Alternative.

Alternative Capital Markets sits within the private wealth management division at Goldman, and my team's

responsible for the entirety of the alternative investments
