It is three minutes after ten and you are listening to James O'Brien on LBC. The weirdest thing

about Kami Badenox's behaviour this morning is that all of the racists are going to be furious

that we're talking about Diane Abbott again. I mean I could probably look at my inbox and find

you some other. Here you go. Here's John. FFS he writes, not again. Here. Says, can we have a couple of hours? Not on Diane Abbott, please. They're going to be absolutely

livid. That the story has been resurrected, has been revivified by the business secretary.

What's the second funniest phrase in the English language at the moment? Business secretary,

Camie Badenock. You know what the funniest is. Defense Secretary Grant Shaps. God, what a time to be

alive. But the story has been revivified, reinflated with an incredibly, incredibly ugly intervention from, I think in some ways, perhaps the most prominent black female politician

in the post-Dyenne Abbott period would be, would be Camille Badenoch. And so she has,

while trying to keep people like our correspondence there sweet, she's done the exact opposite.

She has given more attention, more, more ammunition almost,

to the people who remain furious that Frank Hester remains, or Frank Hester's filthy money,

remains festering in Tory party coffers, all 15 million pounds of it. The addition of that

extra five million reported at the end of

the last week has not been denied. And it's, no, I'm not going to lie to you and I don't want you

to get upset with me. I wasn't planning on talking about this again today. I know that the

story has not been resolved satisfactorily. I know that the heartbreaking testimony we took last

week from people who feel the horror of what Frank Hester said, which is almost everybody,

except it would seem the Tory cabinet. I know that that demands more attention, but there is,

you know, this is not, this isn't a science, it's a craft.

It's an art if you prefer, if you're feeling a bit pretentious.

And you can't talk about the stuff, the same story.
