Welcome back to another episode of the just different podcast, where we talk everything,

faith life, and culture.

So I'm not going to waste any time getting into this one because something I've been thinking about a lot recently is times moments and periods

in my life where I'm not prioritizing God and I think here recently as I've been just traveling

having my hands and different things I've been seeing that show up in my day to day and so with that I've just been taking an audit and a step back to really understand why that is, where this stems from, and of course, looking

at what can I do to make sure that I'm not falling into this mindset continuously, and this

isn't a regular part of my lifestyle. Because I think that we can all relate to

or familiar with those moments and times in our life

where it's like, yo, you wake up,

and it's like, oh, snap, it's been two or three days,

and I haven't prayed, I haven't spent any quiet time with God and or worshipped or maybe

I missed one or two times of service this month at church or going to life group.

And of course, we know that's never what we want.

Our priority is always to make sure that he is at the center of our life,

that he's our everything, that we're living through him,

by him, and from him but sometimes

it's these moments in between where we get off of this like routine and this discipline and

we just start seeing things fall apart and I think this has become that much more important to me because something that I heard recently was that there's a difference between values and beliefs.

And the difference is the fact that beliefs are what you think are true but values of

what you believe are important and so as I was thinking about that more and how that

relates to just my relationship with God what I came up with was this. It's the fact that our words show us what we believe about
