You're now tuned in that's the Justin from podcast

where we talk everything, fake life, and culture.

And as you can see by the title,

we're going to be getting into the conversation or topic of how to stop people

pleasing or honestly what I like to call how to not care like Jesus and one thing

that's definitely helped me with this in terms of getting over

this coming into myself and being just really secured in who I am. It's something that we've

mentioned before a long time ago, but it was the idea that when you know who you are, you don't need anyone else to define it for you.

And I know in my life in different moments or seasons where I felt, whether that be inadequate and I've been looking for the praise, validation, and affirmation of other people in whatever

situation in my life, it's always because I didn't have it for myself.

So I was looking in all these different places

and going to all these different people

and relationships for them to help me define it

or have some meaning to who I am, my identity,

or even my worth.

And so I've had to really come in. identity or even my worth.

And so I've had to really come into letting God be the one that has ultimate say in defining

my ultimate identity, who I am, and allowing that to be the primary fuel for what drives me and not the words or

affirmation to people.
