A little bit earlier in the day, trying to get it done for you. And a reminder, we'll do the Friday show tomorrow.

And that will serve as your preview for the cookout deal we're going to have. I was going to do that today, but I thought, you know what, since we're going to do Friday show on Thursday, give you plenty of time to get caught up on that, that we'll do that tomorrow. And plus, that would give us a chance to kind of confirm a few more visitors. It's going to be a pretty big group. It's not going to be something crazy, though. I mean, it's going to mainly be your priority targets, kind of some guys that

you want to have that last, a little bit of a crescendo with as you get ready to head into the

season because you know what happens next week? That's right. That's right. College football

camps open. So we're going to talk a lot of football today. I can do a little baseball portal update at the end of the show. But we're going to talk, you know, kind of about, you know, what am I looking for in fall camp? You know, what are some of the position battles, you know, how do some of these new players kind of mesh with what we have coming back? So we're going to talk about that really in the first

segment of the show. Got a very interesting and historic top 10 list for you. A little bit of a

story to go along with that. A lot of good feedback about the mother love bone list and also

the story in and of itself. And I'm glad that it was so well received that I'm sure there's some

people out there that are kind of seething, you know, some of these Nirvana fans who have a BS degree in her vision as history. I'm sure there's some of that. But I've heard from a lot of people that said, hey, you know, Steve, I didn't know a lot of that about grunge. I didn't understand that tucked away up there in Pacific Northwest, there was already kind of a thriving scene.

And I kind of appreciated the fact that I kind of took it through the history.

But I'll tell you that Mother Love Bone album, Apple, it makes me emotional, man.

It really does.

And I was telling Roy, I said, man, when I die, I have him play Man of Golden Words at my funeral.

I love that song. I do. I always have. And I think it's one of those things, too. There are certain songs in life that you kind of identify with, and you begin to think, you know what? He's kind of singing my song. That's one of those ones for me. But a lot of great feedback about that I'm so good to I'm so happy

excuse me so glad to be able to turn some of you guys on to some music and

provide some insight and perhaps to some tracks and bands maybe you're

unfamiliar with but I'd be honest with you when I first learned of mother love

boy I guess it was Kurt Loder on MTV they It kind of shared a little bit of the story.

And because of the fact, again, I was just so enamored with what was happening in rock music,

I wanted to learn about Andrew Wood.
