What words or phrases do you hear someone say and immediately know you're probably not going to like that person?

Tough love often seems to be used as an excuse to be a jerk.

I get it when it's like an intervention, but most times I've personally heard this is just for when people want to start crap.

So I personally don't use the term tough love, but I am the

dozen sugar coat things friend. Granted, I know how to read a room and I'm not

heartless, but there are a bunch of people in this world that need a little push or

to be told that they are acting a certain way that might not be for the best. I feel

like tough love is probably the best phrase,

but I don't know another phrase that doesn't seem negative.

In a work setting, mother freaker,

you just laid off cousin Bill last week. Yeah, as soon as you start

talking to your coworkers like you talk to your brother, you get ridden up. Can you go get the cart

from the back in building C? Get crapped on, poophead, you've got legs. Instant ride up. So much for

family. No offense, but just before saying the most offensive thing you've heard

in your life. See, also, don't take this the wrong way with a disaster statement to follow.

Can't forget step sister of not to be political, but you can't retort it because they made it clear that their political rant wasn't political.
