Day and Jim Knowles and Preparation for Ohio State's prime time match up with Notre

Dame at Notre Dame on Saturday at 7 o'clock on NBC. And we definitely start with day stuff.

But just listening back and also just listening live, I thought Nathan would Jim Knowles had

to say was maybe a little bit more interesting at times. And maybe he just teased us with some

of the stuff he had to say. But whether it was I asked him about the sunny styles stuff

and maybe he might be moving around going forward, you were asking about, you know, pressure

and defensive line play. But he kind of teased the Jack. I don't know. Do we? In a way

that was like messing with us, but also this would be the game, right Nathan? This would

be if they're going to use the Jack at all. This would be the game to bring it out.

I mean, maybe it is more of a run defense mechanism than it is a pass rush mechanism.

I think that's always been a little bit misunderstood. But it's very hard to say with any certainty

because we just don't know how much they've really been practicing it. We didn't see it

in our small glimpses of the preseason camp. And some of that is Mitchell Melton and what

they've been doing with him trying to weave him back into maybe being more of a conventional

defensive end. So I'm very much not going to go out on the Jack limb. It's certainly

something to have in the back of our minds as we approach this game. But it's not something

that I'm ready to proclaim will be a big part. It is, I think it is though. And I tried

to ask Ryan Day about this after the game and in a way, kind of that mix between getting

your foundation set over the first three games and building your identity, the balance

of that and then holding something back. And we think they've done that on offense. And
