| 1:35.2 | Well, when you look at our charter, it says to increase the transparency of the L.A. County Sheriff's |
| 1:42.1 | Department. It says that we are to provide recommendations on bettering the department. |
| 1:47.0 | And it says that we are supposed to serve as a bridge between the community and the department. |
| 1:52.0 | And so if we use those as our guide stars, everything else falls below that. |
