Over the weekend, when I heard that accused rapist and right-wing darling, Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan, were facing extradition

to the UK, accused of everything from sex trafficking to child pornography. I had one person I wanted

to talk to. Heidi Blake. Heidi is a reporter for the New Yorker. Just last month, she published an exhaustive

investigation into the Tate brothers and their Camgirl empire. It's an empire that many women,

say, they were forced to participate in. Heidi flew to Romania to interview the Tates. They even put her in touch with

women who defended them. She says there was a problem with that, though.

I had transcripts of prison calls in which Andrew Tate was directing some of his enforcers to go out

there and make these women make videos defending him.

So obviously I took these conversations with a grain of salt.

But actually even one of the women he put me in touch with who did say she didn't feel

that she was a victim as such.

She did also tell me that they had tried to prevent her leaving the webcam pornography operation.

They were running by hacking her social media accounts

and having one of their associates threatened to set fire to her car.

Did you get the sense when you spoke to the Tate Brothers that they thought the law was closing

in on them? I actually really think that at the time I spoke to them, they felt pretty confident of their impunity.

They said there was zero percent chance that they would ever face trial and that it was all going nowhere.

So how surprised were you when a few days ago the brothers were arrested in Miami?
