Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. It's time for you and for me to

0:12.9

get our minds aligned with the truth of God. If you're a long time listener to the morning

0:17.2

mindset you'll recognize we have some different music this morning. I've had a number of

0:21.8

comments throughout the years that the previous music was just a little too jarring, a little

0:26.6

too abrupt for a devotional time like this. And so I finally have gotten some music that

0:32.6

I feel good about. This is an old standard hymn, joyful, joyful. But with a little more

0:38.2

of a modern twist to it. So I hope that you enjoy it. I'd love to hear from you about

of the grace of God given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles,

1:23.2

in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may

1:28.4

be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Paul is pointing out to us that sometimes

1:37.5

we need to be reminded of the foundational issues of the truths that undergird the things

1:45.1

that we do. And in this context, he's talking about the things we do as believers in Christ.

1:50.8

We need to be reminded, what is it that makes us Christians in the first place? What

1:55.5

is it that God has done that motivates us and moves us in life to live a Christian life?

2:02.9

And he's saying on some of those points, he's written very boldly, he's been blunt.

2:06.8

He has laid out the truth without apology, which really is the way that it should be laid

2:12.5

out. Because we need to hear the unvarnished truth of God so that we can align our minds
