Today on the Grave Talks, what lingers inside the Haunted Stevenson building, a conversation with owner Christy Ayers.

Built in 1901 in the small railroad town of Wymore, Nebraska, the haunted Stevenson building has carried more than a century of stories within its walls.

Located in the heart of downtown near the railroad line that built the town, the structure was part of the early business district and reportedly served over the years as a dance hall, saloon, gambling space, possibly even a brothel.

It was the kind of place where money flowed, tempers flared, and secrets were buried.

Today it operates as a paranormal investigation site and Audities Museum, attracting those who want to see if the rumors are true.

Visitors report footsteps pacing on empty upper floors, whispers captured in silent rooms,

cold air that moves against logic and shadow figures that vanish the moment you focus on them.

Owner Christy Ayers joins us to discuss the buildings layered past and the unsettling question

at the center of it all. Are these simply echoes of history? Or does something inside the

Haunted Stevenson building still claim the space as its own?

You know, I actually lived in Nebraska

when I was a child. My mom's family's from McCook, other side of the state, and I lived in a

haunted house in Nebraska growing up. You live in McCook that? Like, what's the house? I was living in

Elma, Nebraska. I kind of know where it is. Yeah. So it's South Central. And Ymore, Nebraska. That's southeast Nebraska, correct? Yes. It's actually about 10 minutes off the Kansas border. Yeah, it's right there. I was looking at it on a map.

I've never been there.
