Trent Williams was not the topic that stood out to me watching John Lynch talk,

even though I know rightfully it's the thing that most of you are texting your buddies about.

I thought the thing that seemed like the biggest frustration to him,

and they're going to have to find a way to address it because I don't think John Jennings is going to be the answer, is receiver.

They got no snaps from Jacob Cowling on offense.

They got, what, six targets from Jordan Watkins.

If you're the 49ers, three targets from Jordan Watkins.

If you're the 49ers this year, you're thinking, okay, if we're going to add a receiver,

it can't be in the fourth round because the last two fourth rounders have not materialized

to anything and part of their offseason is going to be jordan wotkins can you make a jump in year two

but we just did that story last year with jacob cowing and the answer was no didn't get on the field

got on the field less than he did as a rookie and he barely got on the field as a rookie and then he

brought up rickie pierceau and you

know similar like there was a lot of the offseason you uh last year to this year like okay

finally and then early injury and big games and a lot of absences and some like really

promising production you know I thought when

he was healthy at the beginning of the year he was not I thought he was producing like one of

the best receivers in the league his production numbers with that doesn't mean he was one of the

best receivers but I think he was one of the best receivers when healthy but I don't think

they can go into a year next year with him as their best receiver relying on

him to be their best receiver. I think what's crazy about it was frustrating about it for them,

I'm sure, is if he was a healthy guy, I do think because you use Kittal, because you use McCaffrey,
