Hey what's up it's Will Kane today we have I think a unique

a very special addition to our series focusing on America's most

elite warriors. Today we talk to a Tier 1 operator, a Delta Force operator, Jim the Cracken Erwin.

It may be worthwhile to point out in terms of terminology and structure exactly what I'm talking about.

Most of what we think of when it becomes a conversation about special operators are Tier 1 warriors or rather I'm sorry tier 2

warriors that's Navy SEALs that's Army Special Forces better known as

Green Berets.

Tier 1 warriors, report not to Special Operations Command, but to Joint Special Operations Command, which is outside of the military hierarchy and reports directly to the Pentagon.

There is one SEAL team, SEAL Team 6, that is considered a Tier 1 asset.

And from the Army, there is Delta Force that is considered a Tier 1 asset.

Now here's why I find that fascinating and why considered a tier one asset.

enlightening when it comes to my conversation with Jim Irwin.

For many of our conversations with special forces and special operators, you hear a lot of guys talk

about the Brotherhood, the camaraderie, the identity, the accomplishment of becoming a Navy SEAL or a Green Beret or a Marine Rader.

It's interesting when I talked to Jim Irwin that when you talk about a Tier 1 Delta guy, you're talking about an environment that is like making the NFL.
