0:07.4	here to teach what I know about how to be a CEO. A CEO is a chief executive
0:15.2	officer and for me it's about being an intelligent follower and the first
0:20.8	thing you need to know about being an intelligent follower is to know your
0:26.8	interest meaning you need to be more interested than interesting. Great
0:32.4	leaders great CEOs learn and then they utilize the lessons in order to promote
0:40.2	and protect their business and the people within the context of their
0:44.2	business. Every business is made up of the same thing and that's people and in
0:50.1	order to be a great CEO you need to know your values and empower your people with
0:57.5	those values. The first value to be a great CEO is gratitude. Gratitude gives
1:05.4	us perspective. It allows us to learn. It allows us to learn where the light and
1:11.8	the love is in everyone and learn how to prioritize what's important to us.
1:17.9	The biggest value in life and in business as a CEO is to have the
1:24.7	perspective of gratitude. In fact if you want to change your own life and the
1:30.3	people around you as an intelligent follower simply say thank you. Simply
1:35.8	institute gratitude within every context of your business. Say thank you
1:40.5	before you go to bed and when you wake up and I guarantee not only will your
1:43.9	life change but all those who work with you collaborate and coordinate with
1:48.4	you. Their lives will change as well. Gratitude will give you the
1:52.4	perspective to be passionate, purposeful and profitable. The first cultural
1:59.3	value of being a CEO is gratitude. The second one is something called empathy.
