gift for you today. It's an interview with Isaiah Thomas, the football player from OU. He loves

his mom and he has so much inspiration from his mother. He's very close with his mom. And he's also expecting a little

girl and he's very excited to be a dad. So we have a great interview with him. He talks about

all the motivational people in his life, his family. And I know you guys will enjoy it. So happy

Mother's Day. Hi, Isaiah Thomas. Welcome to Cause I said so. Hey, nice to meet you guys. Good to be here. I'm excited.

Great to meet you too. Okay. We're going to start with just you, a fellow Oklahoman, introducing yourself.

Well, my name is Isaiah Thomas. Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, played football and basketball throughout my whole life.

A big family guy, a big family guy, you know, really supportive, raised by my mother and grandmother and uncle, basically groomed me to getting to where I am now.

I have three beautiful siblings, a beautiful lovely girlfriend who was currently pregnant.

We're having a baby girl.

I just found out yesterday.

And I had an amazing time in Oklahoma, especially these past two years.

And now I'm on my path to the NFL.

Congratulations, by the way, on both becoming a dad and the draft. Thank you. Yeah, it's exciting. Like, growing up, I've always dreamed of this. And, like, you know, I have my ups and down. So at a point I was like discouraged, didn't think I was going to be here. Then, you know, something just clicked in 2020. And it got me to where I am now. And actually, I mean, I'm doing better than I expected to be doing. So it's exciting. That's very exciting. Was this actually your dream? Like when you were a little boy, were you like, I want to play in the NFL or even college? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So like growing up, I was always like the bigger kid, like tall one like, like I'm like, I'm six for five. So I was always like taller than everybody else and stuff.
