strategies for fighting the mind war that we as Christians are called to engage in.

This is the morning mindset.

This is our opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word for this day. We're going to get into the episode in just a moment.

It's another opportunity for you to get your mind aligned with the truth of God's word,

but in the evening to prepare you for rest so that you perhaps will be thinking about God's truth as you fall asleep.

I want to ask you to pray with me that God will guide me and what I want to ask of you today

and that you'll understand it and you'll be able to respond. Our Lord and our God,

we understand you've called us together to be the body of Christ.

Your church is spread all throughout the world, and we are all a part of it if we have placed

our faith in Jesus Christ. So, Lord, guide us today in understanding this opportunity we have,

to encourage one another, to build one another up, and to learn together from what you're

doing in each of our lives. We ask in Jesus' name, amen. Well, friends, let me just begin by telling

you a little bit of my story. See, I grew up in a family where it was kind of a do-it-yourself kind of family,

like get her done.

You know, we were independent, strong-willed, go-get-em kind of people.

And so when I became a believer in Christ, I didn't realize I already had these patterns of thinking in my head that I can do it.

I don't need people's help.

I can accomplish that. I can, you people's help. I can accomplish that.
