What should you do when you discover something bad is going on in your own head?

verse number two, I invite you to pray with me. Lord God, when we think about renewing our minds

and dealing with the negative stuff that goes on in our own thinking, it can feel very overwhelming.

So Lord, help us, strengthen us, teach us today,

and empower us with your Holy Spirit. We ask in Jesus' name. Amen. Okay, friends, we are looking at

Romans 12 verse number two again. The Apostle Paul writes, this instruction, do not be conformed to this

world, but be transformed by the renewal

of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable

and perfect. So, friends, what Paul does here is he lays out a do not do this and they do

this sort of a category. Don't be conformed to the world.

He's talking about in your behavior or in your thinking. And then he says the way to keep that

command of not being conformed is to be transformed by the renewal of your mind. So he's saying the way we think will affect who we are and how we live in this world.

It makes total sense.

And so the question becomes, how do we renew our mind?
