In this podcast, Dr. Berg talks about Xylitol. Xylitol tastes very close to sugar and has no aftertaste. It can reduce tooth decay and has a glycemic index of 7, it can affect blood sugars a little bit especially if in greater quantities. It is fatal in dogs and is in the nasal spray because it helps the bacteria do not adhere to your mucous membranes to help clear microbes. He also talks about why you should consume non-GMO Xylitol.
