I know a lot has changed, but one thing that may not have changed too much was the actual

For those who don't know what it is, do you want to just give it a quick primer?

Yeah, vermicomposting in a nutshell is just the consumption and decomposition of organic

waste.

It's done with an ecosystem of microbes, mainly bacteria and earthworms.

What this ends up creating is a very stable material called humus or worm castings which

is an excellent soil amendment.
