he'd have to deal with the fallout. And he wouldn't be able to blame anyone else for his mess.

It seems that no one mentioned this to the Trump team during the month they supposedly

spent plotting the assault on Iran.

step up and help him to keep the strait of Hormuz open. That is the opposite of what he said

needed anymore. Well, trying to pass Donald Trump's motives is, I always think, a pretty

pointless exercise. But there is one thing on which you can lay a decent bet. If the Americans

do withdraw and claim victory, there's a fair chance that Mr. Trump will blame the people of Iran for not answering his call to take to the streets and face the regime's guns, and point the finger at allies, including and especially us, for not joining his campaign from the start.
