Summary

Ever feel like your goals are always “almost there” but never quite real? Let’s flip the lens and borrow a few simple images—drops in a jug, a house built one brick at a time, and the spoon against the ocean—to reset how we think about progress, effort, and perspective. We’re zooming out to see how tiny, repeatable actions build trust with ourselves and why some problems need a better vantage point, not more grind. Welcome to Let It Be Easy with Susie Moore.

You know what I've been thinking about lately? It's something that I repeat often.

0:14.0

What's true of one thing is true of another thing. I love this as a life coach giving examples.

0:20.3

If this is true here, it can also be true

0:22.5

over here. It allows us to disassociate and see things a whole lot more clearly by removing emotion.

0:29.7

Now, I've been thinking about this in a slightly different way lately, which is specifically that

0:35.2

what's true in the small is true in the big. And I'm going to

0:38.9

explain why this matters in just a moment. But I've created a list here and tell me if this

0:43.6

0:57.3

which means that big results come from tiny actions, right? Exercising, saving money,

1:03.6

eating healthy food, making sure you have enough sleep. We fill ourselves up drop by drop. Here's another way of looking at it. You can't empty the

1:14.7

ocean with a spoon. Think about the perspective there. Some problems aren't solved by effort.

1:20.4

They're solved by taking a step back and really looking at it. Perspective. What's true of one

1:27.2

thing is true of another thing. A house is built

1:31.1

one brick at a time. No big thing arrives fully formed. Good things, lasting things,

1:39.1

permanent things, meaningful things, take time. So why do I share these examples and this with you today?

1:48.7

It's so that we don't diminish the small stuff. The small stuff adds up. It's easier to go,

1:55.0

oh, I'll skip a workout today. And by the way, I did that this morning. So no judgment here.

1:59.1

But think about this on the grand scale of your life.

2:02.9

Are you putting away money regularly? Are you investing in your friendships by checking in with

2:08.0

people? Are you investing in your own well-being by taking time to do things that nourish you,
