Rossman high Noah hi John you know yesterday morning as we were planning yesterday's podcast I

we were trying to figure out how to talk about what was going to go on later in the day and decided

we probably shouldn't because there was going to be a march and then there was going to be this vote

in congress and so who knew what what what was going to happen and so the idea was we probably

shouldn't try to predict what was going to happen and of course we really shouldn't have tried to

predict what was going to happen since what happened was one of the worst days in modern American

political history as the as the mob from the from the stop the steel trump rally marched down the

mall and came to the capital grounds and broke into the capital building and trashed the capital

building and wandered around the floor and threatened a capital police officers 14 of whom were

injured one woman was shot and killed one of the most disgraceful things that's being said in the

wake of what happened here was you know if this mob had been you know the black people would have

gotten killed well somebody did get killed and 14 police officers were injured and three other

people apparently died of medical medical emergencies as a result of what happened so four people died

14 police officers were killed we don't even know whether there were injuries sustained among the

mob because of course they probably ran away or left or whatever so this was a very violent day

it was a very violent moment it was as violent as it would have been under other circumstances

and so here we are yesterday afternoon I put up a post on our website saying that I believe that

Nancy Pelosi should call an emergency session of the House draft and vote on articles of impeachment

impeach trump and that McConnell's Mitch McConnell should have a hearing in the Senate
