So it appears that the Democrats have taken control of the Senate with a 5050 equal majority

only because the vice president, the incoming vice president, Kamala Harris will be able

to vote in case of a tie and that effectively gives Democrats control of the Senate,

Democrats not control the Senate, and of the House and of the presidency and as of two

years and two months ago, Republicans had control of the White House, the Senate, and the House

of Representatives so that Noah, the peace that you and I wrote together at the end of

the 2016 election, which we call Bear Ruin Pliers, we pointed out that Barack Obama ended

his two terms, not having lost all of these down ticket, down ballot, braces a thousand

state and local legislative offices and had lost the House and the Senate and the White

House and Donald Trump managed to do it in four years as opposed to eight and he did

not get himself reelected.

That's something of a feat.

It's different in so far as the real carnage for Democrats over the eight years of Barack

Obama was way farther down the ballot at the state level, to legislative level, which

really decimated the Democratic Party's farm team and they had to go through a real rebuilding
