Today we've got a little bit of a break here in the Lakers schedule. They don't have a game until Friday. A nice stretch here for the Lakers to rest up, recover, and practice, although it looks

like they're only going to do that a little bit. But they're going to try to iron some things out

this week and then get ready for Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. So what I want

to do on today's show, not expecting it to be a super long show, but you never know once they start

talking Lakers basketball.

I want to get into where the Lakers currently are. Just kind of take stock of where we're at right now.

24 games into the season, where do the Lakers currently sit compared to the Western Conference,

compared to their peers around the NBA? How does all of that look? That's what I want to get

into. Plus take a peek at the schedule ahead. It's going to be a long December, I think, for the Lakers, but we'll take a peek at that schedule. And then I do want to finish some things off with a fake trade, a hypothetical trade that I threw out there. It's someone else is not my trade. Someone else's trade from Bleacher

report that I threw out there. Got a big response on social media. So I thought I'd address it

on the show and dive into that. So that's what we're doing today. Again, appreciate you all

All right. So let's start here. Let's just start with the standings, where the Lakers currently

are. So again, we are 24 games in and the Lakers right now are the eighth seed in the Western

conference after that win over the Portland Trailblazers. Three and seven in their last 10,

that's not ideal.

But still hanging in there, the eight seed right now in the West.

Now, the Lakers point differential suggests that maybe they're actually

plated a little bit above where they should be.

They're minus 3.7 points in terms of their point differential.

Typically, as the season goes on, that stat becomes a better and better indicator of the
