There was this point a few months before we were headed to Washington DC and we were

talking about which museums to visit etc when I realized something and I am ashamed to admit that it took me as long as it did.

I had no idea what the quoteunquote Smithsonian was.

And then, of course, I got to thinking

about the sheer number of times

that I have seen that Smithsonian logo on things.
