Today is crazy.

I was off social media for most of the weekend because it's MLK weekend, a bunch of my friends

are in town from New York.

So I've been hanging out in LA and mixing and mingling out and about and being Demetria

My godmother was in town.

Let me tell you a quick story about my godmother.

So my mother recently retired.

When I was in DC at the top of the year, I went home to celebrate my mother's retirement

while I was on the East Coast.

So sitting at the kitchen table, having this combo with my mom, and I'm like, so mom,

like, what are you going to do with your retirement?

Have you made any plans?

And she's like, no, I haven't really figured anything out.

I don't know what I'm going to do.

I'm going to China in October.
