A new unprecedented era, one I call the negative world.

What is unprecedented?

What is different about today?

I mean, I know a huge question, but just generally, what is different about today? I mean, I know a huge question, but just generally,

what is different about today? America never had a state church like Europe, but we did have a sort of softly institutionalized generic Protestantism as our default national religion for most of our history.

I mean, certainly up through the 1950s, when half of all adults attended church every Sunday,

we had prayer and Bible reading in school.

You know, we were adding in God we trust to our money.

And so this was a situation where society didn't always live in accordance with

Christian morality or any of that. I'm not saying it did, but Christianity was held in honor,

public honor, in the land. And then in the 60s, that started to unravel, and Christianity
