Daniel Hurwitz here for Friday, last day of May, beginning a new month soon and actually new ideas. But for some people it's all

old ideas. Now look I could stand before you today and do what everyone else is doing, try to concoct something

ahead of time that sounds poetic and 1776 to 2024, Rest in Peace America. Yeah as if it didn't die

Forever like here's the deal. There's never any one moment. It's always okay. It dies at this moment but if you just do this like a Nigerian prince scam and vote for this iteration of a Republican at this moment in this way and raise money, then it's going to all go away.

And it's not like that the Republic doesn't die that

quickly and it's not saved that quickly it died a long time ago it died gradually

and to the extent we're gonna do something we, we're going to revive a couple of areas, we're not doing what we need to do.

Look, I really wasn't going to do this today.

I had a show planned about, you know, one of our

doctors, the things he's learned about cancer treatments, because I really feel

like that's a big threat to humanity, you know, everyone's getting cancer and dying from it and to try to help people because clearly politically we're at a brick wall.

But then I realize that anything I do will just go in a black hole today in the news cycle.

So I will cover the news of the day, but I'm going to cover it the way we cover it.
