Welcome to Politics by Faith. We just recorded a TV show called What is the American Dream?

And I think it was pretty good. We set out to do a show, we're like, I don't know.

Then we have guests and we're like, well, how all these guys are going to go.

And then we get done and we're like, okay, that was pretty good. What is the American Dream?

So in this opening segment, we explained why,

and then we talked with the gentleman who introduced this idea of the vertical and the horizontal,

and you're like, oh, yeah, like that's why we're off.

What is the American Dream?

I want to do a special on the American Dream because I think we need to define it.

And I don't know if we can.

Like everyone knows this expression, I'll be American Dream.

But I don't, like, what is it? Just like you can't defeat an enemy if you don't know if we can. Like everyone knows this expression all of the American dream but I don't like what is it?

Just like you can't defeat an enemy

if you don't name the enemy

you also can't get what is good

if you can't define it

and we all want to live the American dream

right?

And people are upset because they'll say

oh the American dream is out of reach okay

...
