All right. So what is actually going on with the riots over in the UK?

Obviously, this kicked off almost about two weeks ago now, but we're still seeing more protests.

And a lot of that protesting has turned violent, destructive, and it's resulted in looting.

And there's been, gosh, a lot of harsh crackdowns by the labor government over there.

In fact, I think it's interesting for a lot of people to see just how aggressive

that the labor government has been in the violence suppression of riots. This is kind of a

turning over a new leaf for left-wing governments right now, it appears. But the point is

that, look, we want to understand what is motivating this and why it's taking place. Because

one thing I've always been adamant about

is that the moment you start burning down private property, the moment you start stealing people's

things or whatnot, in service to a political protest, you lose me, man. You lose me. You might have

some good reasons to do, you know, or to be frustrated, but I don't believe in good reasons to

steal from innocent people whose buildings happen to be in the path of the protest. But we need

to properly understand what exactly is going on and what is fueling it because one of the most

frustrating things I've found is that as I look through mainstream media to try to get some

idea of what's going on,

I get the same answer every time. This is just racist, Islamophobia, xenophobia, far right

wing protesters bent on thuggery, looting, rioting, and mischief. Okay, maybe that's true. Maybe that's true. Or maybe there's actually something

else going on. And we're going to discuss all of that today on this episode of Making the
