That money tag was special to you, Greg Rosenthal, your love affair for Tony Romo in full bloom in 2016. I'm on the Romo train. I mean, you're a big Romo guy. I am, but you've kind of taken the crown. In fact, I'll go as far as saying it's a little bit messed up because you've been driving that Ryan Tannihill bandwagon to nowhere for two years. You can. And I've been hanging out on the Romo bandwagon this whole time. And all of a sudden I got company. I didn't necessarily ask for it. I've always liked Romo. I mean, I'm thinking of it back to the beginning of his career. That's when I really loved Romo when he came out of nowhere to get Drew Bledsoe out of the lineup. is the coach thats is the coach. Those were fun team. You love to see Drew Bledsoe knocked out of the lineup forever. Kind of, yeah. After I read some of the backroom dealing, he was trying to do in 2001, cut Tom Brady's knees from out under him with the coaching staff, and they said, no, we're keeping Tommy in the lineup. Is this on deep background?

No, this is in the excellent book Patriot reign by Michael Holly,

where Bledsoe goes into Belichick's office and tries to politics saying that, you know,

these veterans, they're not going to trust Brady and blah, blah, blah.

And he was like, get the, Wes, you and I, let's not say a single word the entire show.
