Summary

In the first week of our new series, The Paradox of Purpose we were posed with the question; “What is my purpose?” Pastor Charles spoke so powerfully about the difference between Purpose and Calling. If you have ever asked questions like, “Why am I here,” “What’s next,” and “What is my purpose,” this message is for you. Remember, God doesn’t want you to do things for Him, He just wants you to BE with Him.

Join us for service online every Sunday at 11am (CST) and on Monday’s for Monday Night Prayer at 6pm (CST).

0:43.3

sense of having to preach twice two times in a row. So this is a new space for me. I like

0:48.4

every six to eight weeks. I can throw you a good one. But this is you're going to be next

0:57.8

And we got the upgrade and so it don't even matter what my plan is because he's going

1:02.2

to have his way. I want you turning your Bibles to Proverbs. Turning to Proverbs if you don't

1:06.5

know where that is. You can go ahead and log off. I'm joking. I'm joking. We're so glad

1:12.8

that you're here. Proverbs 1921 is where we're going to be. And this is going to act as our

1:18.4

anchor scripture. Now our word for the year is help me say it anchor is anchor is our

1:25.4

word for the year and we decided this year that we were not going to drift. We're not

1:32.1

going to drift. We're not going to drift from the things that God has called us to do.

1:35.6

We're not going to drift from our integrity. We're not going to drift from his instruction.

1:39.4

We're not going to just talk doing things, but we're going to be sensitive to the voice

1:42.6

of God and we're going to be anchored in his word. And I'm know for a fact that through

1:48.1

the series we're going to get anchored together. You're going to be anchored in your identity.
